All power is filtered and conditioned by redundant UPS systems. These UPS systems also carry the data center's power load during any transition between two primary hydroelectric utility feeds and between our utility feeds and our emergency diesel generators.
Connected to two different hydroelectric utility grids. Aquila and BCHydro. In addition, it has standby diesel generators available to provide emergency power.
Cooled buy redundant HVAC systems. These systems use 10 and 25 ton geothermal heat pumps. These pumps reduce the temperature inside the data center to an optimum 18 degrees centigrade.
